What people mean by Mangal Dosh
Mangal Dosh is the name given when Mars, in a Vedic chart, is read as sharp enough to disturb marriage, temper, or peace at home. Families hear it from an astrologer, often before a wedding, and are told to pacify Mangal. The remedy they are pointed to in Ujjain is not a generic havan in a hall. It is the offering at the temple regarded as Mangal’s birthplace.
Charts differ. One Manglik reading is not another. Bring the date, time, and place of birth if the puja follows a kundli, so the pandit can see whether Bhat Pooja alone is the seva or whether Navgraha shanti belongs with it.
How the nivaran vidhi is done here
The sequence is the one kept at this mandir. Sankalp first, in the name and gotra you send. Ganesh. Then Mangal, at the lingam of Mangalnath. Then the rice offering. Then aarti. The core seva takes about an hour. A longer abhishek, or a Navgraha havan beside it, takes longer and has its own dakshina.
Ayush Mahendra Bharti is the mahant. Families looking for a Mangal Dosh remedy are asked to speak with Pandit Ayush Bharti ji on the numbers published on this site.
What to send before the muhurat
Full name, gotra, the city you live in, and whether you will be at the mandir. If a couple is to be named, send both names. If a parent is booking for a child, say so. Extra names change the dakshina, and that change is said before the day, not at the gate.
Tuesday is the day most families ask for. Other days are performed when Tuesday is not possible. Festival mornings and Bhaumvati Amavasya should be booked earlier because the road is crowded.
What this puja does not claim
A completed Mangal Dosh Puja is a worship offered correctly, in your name, at this temple. It is not a certificate that a marriage will be fixed on a date, that a court case will end, or that an illness will lift. If someone promises those outcomes in exchange for a large advance, that is not how this mandir books the seva.
