Why the puja is booked before marriage
A Manglik reading is usually raised while two families are still deciding. The worry is delay, mismatch, or a sharp Mangal in one chart or both. The tradition at this temple is to offer bhat to Mangal, in the name of the person whose chart was read, before the wedding rather than after a difficulty has already set in.
Both charts can be named when both have been read as Manglik. Say that on the first message. The sankalp lists the names you send, and the dakshina is confirmed for that list.
What the parents should prepare
The yajman’s full name and gotra. The birth date, time, and place if you have them. A preferred Tuesday, with a second date if that Tuesday is a festival. Whether the person will stand at the mandir or the sankalp will be taken in their name while the family is elsewhere.
Clothes are simple and traditional. Families usually avoid black that day. You do not shop for a complete samagri list. What the booked vidhi needs is arranged with the seva.
Timing around a wedding date
Book the muhurat before you print invitations if the puja is a condition the elders have set. Morning hours are the easier visit. The temple road fills on holidays, and a wedding party that arrives at noon often finds the darshan queue where they hoped to find a quiet sankalp.
The puja does not set the wedding muhurat. It is a remedy performed ahead of the marriage. The wedding date remains the one your own priest gives from the charts.
A straight word about results
Families book this because they trust the tradition at Mangal’s birthplace. Trust is not the same as a guarantee. No one at the mandir should tell you the marriage will be settled on a particular day because the rice was offered. If that promise is what you were sold, pause and call the numbers on this site before you pay anyone else.
